Tudor Topiary
This lovely Elizabethan manor house deserved a garden in keeping with the period of the house but which was also practical for a family and as a professional wedding venue. The first area to be developed was the courtyard at the front of the house. It needed to be low maintenance and look good all year round, while providing a beautiful entrance. The design included box hedges, topiary, shade-tolerant plants, a stone font and reclaimed York paving. Cobble ribbons and a pebble mosaic of the family dog were used as details within the paving.
