Tudor Topiary
This lovely Elizabethan manor house needed a garden in keeping with the period of the house but which was also practical for a family.
The first area to be developed was the courtyard at the front of the house. It needed to be low maintenance and look good all year round, while providing a beautiful entrance.
The design included formal box-edged beds, imported topiary, a stone font and reclaimed York paving.
Pebble ribbons were laid within the paving to echo patterns on the house and a pebble mosaic set into this, depicting the family dog.
