An unusable slope was transformed into a series of pathways, abundant borders and hidden seats. A lookout point overhangs a steep drop and provides the perfect place to pause and enjoy the stunning view. Flamboyant planting softens the pathways and expanses of York paving, while the specially commissioned armillary sundial marks each birthday and anniversary of the owner’s family.
