This small country garden originally sloped down towards the house, causing a problem with rainwater.

There was nowhere to sit in the evening sun and the space had little character.

The new garden is designed on two levels, with a flat lawn and walls using reclaimed bricks.

A circular pond nestles inside a curved wall, while an arbour is positioned to catch the last of the sun.

A small potager is included, with fruit and vegetables, and compost bins are disguised as beehives.
