Hot Spot

A sunny corner of this garden sloped up steeply from the house.

The fence was replaced with a wall to enclose the garden and a series of curved paths and steps built to provide a meandering route to a shady corner arbour.

The planting was Mediterranean in style and drought-tolerant, with plenty of foliage texture for winter interest.
